Roommate Agreements
Moving in with a roommate is a big deal—money, chores, guests, noise, and shared space can become stressful fast if expectations aren’t written down. A Roommate Agreement is a practical, written set of rules that roommates agree to follow while living together. It helps prevent misunderstandings and gives you a clear plan for handling common issues like rent, utilities, cleaning, guests, and moving out.
This document is not legal advice and does not override mandatory local laws. It is intended for private roommate arrangements that may fall outside traditional landlord-tenant protections.
